Forward Contracting/Guaranteed Price Contracts

A forward contract will give you peace of mind in a time when markets can be very uncertain.  Forward contracts are currently offered on steers.  These contracts are always done on a "truck load" basis (approximately 70 head of 850 lbs. feeder steers).  A contract always has a stated month that the cattle will be shipped.  Our marketing reps will help you to work out a feeding plan to get your steers to 850 lbs. weight for that stated period.  Your guaranteed price is priced off of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange futures market.  Current prices and information is available to you any time.  Please call the Saskatoon office for more information.
